Well, with any luck we will be at our house in Az tomorrow. I am so glad. It has been a long trip. We left one week ago tomorrow and have will have put about 2400 miles on the car.
Today, we went through Carlsbad Caverns. It really was neat. I think everyone should go if they get close to it. I walked through most of it. My husband took the handcapped trail and made it okay. I walked the entire great room trail and I walked the 7500 feet that takes you into mouth of the cave. It is almost straight down. It really gives you a idea of how huge the cave is and how far down it goes. Anyone else been there?
Theresa, I hope your surgery goes well. I have a sinus problem. I sometimes wonder if it is allergy induced or something else. By the way, I told my hubby you got hearing aids from the VA. How did you go about getting them? He needas them but we don't have the 7000 at least to pay for them. Are yours the digital ones?
WEll, gonna watch tv and hit the hay early. We want an early start tomorrow.
Later Ladies and to all a good night. Reply...

Hi everyone how are you today? I am good, thanks for asking, I also am having surgery in December. For anyone in Minot that is reading this that has ear or sinus problems there is a new doctor at ENT at Trinity, he is marvelous. After years of pain he is doing sinus surgery on me.
Curly that is a scary story with the cow poop on the car; do you know what I do all the time now? I carry my cell phone right next me and take photos of trucks and cars that are breaking the law, you should have called that truck in, that is not suppose to happen. My prayers are with you and your husband every day.
KO you are nice not to take advantage of what is yours, do your kids with him have military benefits? When I was a First Sergeant, I was always on men to own to their responsibilities. Like your friend with the child of a military man, that child is entitled to a life time of benefits. Enough about that I was getting worked up sorry.
Marilyn if you are reading this I am sorry if I made you mad. This room is a separate forum; we all just dump our stuff. Marilyn how about that bus accident in MN, and the today show had this story about boys hurting people for a YouTube moment.
Care do you have a map application on your phone? I do, I have a map of anywhere, and too bad I never go anywhere. Keep the Shelbeast up with her school, make sure she knows she has to be smart in her life, and not have to depend on any man to take care of her. I tell my daughter that every day; she needs to focus on college and not her looser boyfriend. I tell her knowing how to play “Call of Duty” video game will mean nothing when in 10 years. She makes me so mad; don’t get me started on that one.
Shoppe, I love you so this is for you...

Hay how come we don't have a McDonalds in Walmart?
I like the Eggnog shakes.
See you later, Theresa

Hello everyone!
Anyone heard from Marilyn? I have not seen a post from her anywhere on the forum and a long time.
Well, I have been on a roll. We left last Saturday for Fargo. We stayed there until Monday morning and then we left for Minneapolis to see hubby's doc. They are making application to Workforce safety for him to have surgery. I am not sure if it is the right thing to do but the poor man needs to get releif and it is the only thing anyone has really offered. They will remove the metal from his spine and try to clean up L3. If approved it will be in Dec some time.
Then after his appointment was over, we left Minneapolis for AZ as a final destination. We are driving down a old car we bought for our use down there. It is an old Lincoln towncar. It is a 1999 and it is really still a very nice car and is perfect for what we need it for. It was cheap too.
The trip has gone pretty well, except for the fact that he is miserable and pretty high on pain meds so he can stand the ride. Right now he is passed out in bed and has been for about an hour and it is only 7:30 this time. We are in New Mexico. I hope to make it either tomorrow or the nxt morning. We will fly back to Bismarck on Dec 2. We will be there until the surgery is done or we will just fly back to Az for the remainder of the winter.
Gotta tell you a funny story. We were driving into a little town called Hampton Iowa. It was just getting dark and I was driving. It smelled like Pig, chicken cow dung and it was pungent. Well, a truck is coming from the front and just as it went by, one (or more) of the animals releived itself and it hit our car big time. I almost hit the ditch. Hard to see through that stuff. GROSS! The next morning I took the car to a do it your self car wash and spent 10 bucks washing the yuk off the car. I almost lost it cause I do not have a very strong stomach and that was about at the top of my limit.
Well, sounds like you are all fine. Si Ko I know you are very sad and I feel for you. Wish there was something we could do to ease your sorrow.
Well, good night ladies.

Hello everyone, how are you today? I am okay; I had a busy day today. Of course I started with the paper route, and then I went off to the soup kitchen at about 0730hrs. I made a banana cake this morning, if you ever have brown bananas; I have a great cake recipe. From bananas to cake in 45 minutes, if you want banana frosting an extra ten minutes. I add chocolate chips, everyone loves my banana cake. I helped get things ready for the soup kitchen, and then I had to get a CAT scan at 1130. So I had my CAT scan stood up and passed out, cold fish. I woke up to smelling salts, there were people around me and they wanted to take me to the emergency room. I didn’t want to go, but they said I had to and I can’t wait to see this bill. I have problems with passing out, I have no idea what triggered it. I am home now all safe at my computer.
KO, KO, KO, smells like you had a rough day, I remember those days of sick kids and poop. I really don’t want to think about it. Your x husband retired from the Military right? How long were you married to him, you know if you were married over ten years you are entitled to half of his retirement, did you know that? That is why my husband hopes I never leave him, there is no law that says he is entitled to half of my military retirement, but I get half of his. I would never take it, when we split it will be clean, divorce in a do it yourself box, sells at office max $79.99.
Care how is the clean up going, okay let’s do it… Let’s do a looky look at the world of Care
Care if I was there, we would be going to see The Beatles tribute band

Loved that pic. Theresa, you must go to walmart everyday to get these wonderful pictures. LOL..
Yes, the 93 yr old is my Aunt. The trip was with only 2 of my 9 sisters.... The original two I like to say, so we took our bio mom. Aunt Mary is her sister.
Hope you are all having a great marvelous blessed day. :) I plan on painting (or repainting) Nates red little boys room. My daughter and I messed up so bad, we are repainting the whole thing, after we prime with some tinted kilzet paint... I have painted 4 perfect rooms in her house while I have been staying here this month, and only the red room is horrible.

Good morning everyone, how is it going today? I am okay; I went the exciting city of Jamestown yesterday, fun, fun, fun, NOT! Jamestown is a really small town; I took a few pictures I will post on Facebook today. I got my hearing aids, they cost of them are $9,000.00. How do people afford these things, the Doctor from the VA told me they are state of the art, the top of the line? If anyone is reading this that has heading aids, does noise hurt forever. I hear everything, it was like noise overload, and it hurts.
Not much is happening today, I am not working the soup kitchen tomorrow I have a CAT scan and a doctor’s appointment. I am pretty tired once again, I have not been sleeping well, I take so many drugs at night, and I have a few new ones.
KO you can text me any time, I am slightly a text slow person, so it you txt me, it may take a few minutes. I have a blackberry, so text should be east, but I am still slow. KO I don’t like the light purple font you use, I have some problems reading it. It might be my monitor, the colors and brightness is off I think. My son will be home for Thanksgiving, he is the computer god, and he will fix it. Can you please use a darker color? I have to cut and paste it on a document to see it.
Care a wet carpet sucks, I hope you get it before you get mold.
Shoppe I am glad your 93 year old fiend is doing well; I could not find where you said she was related.
I am going to go for now. I love you all so much.

Yeah we have Thanksgiving. Not sure what we are going to do though. We have turkey ham, chicken, veggies, potatoes, gravy, cranberries, stuffing, veggie trays, cakes, pies, frybread..the works. My ex and my current dont really care for alot of turkey.. we all say that is the cheapest bird you can get so why eat that on a day of thanks???? The ex would usually cook up a goose or pheasant or duck or we would grill...eat steaks n stuff like that. This year its going to be quiet! Not sure if were going to my moms side of the familys dinner or my dad's side.
Yay! You got text!!! Im easier to get ahold of that way. I dont like talkin on the phone when I have a kid screamin..Mom Mom Mom on the phone lol. Theresa, youre simply the best ! too funny. I thought it was Sasquach (sp).
So, the 93 yr old does have a son that lives a quarter of a mile away on same road, and she owns a mobile home( 1/4 mile from big house) that she lives in in the yard of her daughter the nurse..Her choice mind you, she is invited to stay in daughters home. Aunt mary owns 77 acres and loves the memories of the old house. She only goes there when taken, or if we are coming in to visit. Don't get me wrong, its still the boonies, but there is family. As soon as the phone call went out to the ambulance 10 minutes away, SHE HAD ALL HER FAMILY THERE within 5 min. They have scanners. I had to smile, they beat the ambulance to moms house. :) They love her dearly and that was nice to see.
Keep those walmart photos coming in...haha Reply...

Hello everyone, how are you today? I am sorry this morning after the paper route I was so tired, because I did not sleep well last night. I went back to bed, yes I did and I slept till 10:00 it was great. I never go back to sleep. I will ruin my routine tonight, I won’t be able to go to sleep at 7, that is why I never go back to sleep, everyday to bed at 7 up at 0230. I have to take my old ladies shopping in a few hours so I don’t have much time.
Shoppe it sounds like you had a nice time, why is a 93 year old out in the boonies? I hope she is doing well, did you watch any chick flicks? I am glad you did not shoot anyone. If I lived in boonies I would love to practice firing once and a while. I love guns; I got to fire a surface to air missile when I was in the military that was awesome, “Go ahead make my day”.
I am surprise no one is talking about Sarah Palin on Oprah today. I will tape it; I don’t like Oprah except her Christmas show, where she gives everything away. I love to see people happy.
KO call me whenever you will be in town, I have text also. You can just text me and tell me how great your day is going. You have such a busy life; it is so great to live around relatives. KO do Native Americans have a big thanksgiving, what do you make for dinner.
Care I am sorry you got hit by that nor’easter, it looked like a mess. My dad in New York got rain pretty bad also, but nothing in the house.
Shoppe for you

I can't see him eather..
love you all, Theresa Reply...

Theresa I am sorry I didnt get a chance to call you. Friday it was hectic..didnt get into our room until 9 something. The kids swam n swam til the pool closed n then they went again in the morning. Saturday we were gettin pretty tired so we decided just to go home. Rested up a bit n headed to gramma's n home.
Yesterday we went to church..there was no church though..the pastor n his backup didnt show up so one of the deacons said a prayer, talked for a bit, n one of the community members spoke a lil bit too..then they had dinner. So we got in some turkey dinner before indian tacos.
We had bout 50 people in/out of the house..well least the kids stayed outside most of the time haha) N the kids got some traveling money from their gramma's/aunties. My aunts bday was yesterday n my nephew was baptized so we had 3 celebrations in one. My dad, ex husband, his brother and the kids went bird huntin for a lil while. They all came back n it was just us, my mom, n husband n them n sat around for a bit. We went home about 8 i think. I was in bed by 10!
I dont want them to go!!!! but I know..its for their well being n not mine :) and they will be happier, smarter, more outgoing once they get there! Reply...
