Good Morning!
Well, I see Theresa says it is rained in Minot. That is so nasty this time of year. I hope today is not more of the same.
Yep, my friend is here. We had a fun day. We did some shopping and then came home to make steak on the grill and stir fry. But, first we got in the hot tub for a little while and that was really great. We lite the fire place outside and had a nice time watching the fire. (My eyes are scratchy today from smoke) My friend had a entire bottle of wine by herself so she got kind of sleepy and the night ended kind of early. I watched a little tv and went to bed and for some reason my tummy started to hurt so I spent most of the night up. Now I am tired. I may have to make it an early night myself tonight.
Not much else today. I think we will go for a power walk this morning and this afternoon when the temps go up we will maybe lay in the sun. It is only going to be in the 60's but still nice if the sun is out and no wind. Wish you all could come on down and join us. I can see where a person gets kind of depressed when it snows and snows etc. I talked to several people and sounds like many sick kids up there.
That is some picture Theresa.....Butt the is always hope for another idiot to post from Walmart tomorrow.

I am bored this week also. I think with hubby being out of town for 3 months is taking its toll.
Since we are self employed, my prayer is that he will find enough work here in Charlotte that he doesn't have to go back to wilmington.
Still nursing grandson with the strep throat. He is doing very well, not in pain..

Good morning everyone, how are you today? Not too much happening, did you see in the news paper that the Henry Towers had a big fire yesterday? I hope no one I know is out of a room that place looks like a fire trap anyway. Has anyone ever been in a big fire? I was in a big fire in the Air Force; a dormitory went up in fire. It was late in the evening, and of course all the girls had all been asleep, so everyone ran out of the dorm, not wearing much. I always sleep in shorts and a tee; I am always ready for a fire. I lost everything from smoke and water damage. The US Marines dormitory was right next to our dorm on Andrews, the Marines were all very kind, we all sat in there day rooms and they gave us all of their blankets, they were very much gentlemen. Fires are scary!!
The forums do get a little out of control, I agree Curly. People like to start fights; it gets me more depressed that I need. I have enough going on in my head. I am glad you have a friend down there in Arizona; it must be nice to walk outside. It was really icy this morning, it rained last night and froze this morning, it is hard to run and do the paper route on Ice.
It was a nice Sunday here my oldest was here from college for the day. He went to go see John swim in Mandan, and drove up with him Saturday night. We had a nice dinner then he left.
KO have a nice week at work, I hope all is well with kids. That is weird cemetery story, was the hearse 4 wheel drive?
Shoppe, I hope you have a great day.

Yes, Congrats to Theresa's son n his team!!!
Its been foggy and misty the past few days here Curly..not so good news for the arthritic people! Friday nite I went to the wake and saturday I went to the funeral. It was a beautiful funeral. Tons of balloons, a few songs sung by the family members and a slide show. the road to the cemetary was pretty ugly and muddy so they asked that people with trucks only go down there. When they loaded the body up to follow, the family released all the helium balloons.
We went to Minot but it was late. We left about 9, dropped the truck off at the shop, went to walmart and came home. rugrat and I only meant to nap for about an hr n half.. ended up to be a 3 hour one..(gilligans islands 3 hour tour ran thru my head lol)
So its back to work for the week..
The kids are doing good. They were watching the simpsons n the princess has a cold. They are patiently waiting for me to come visit them. I told them when I have some $$ and time..I wont let them know its their bday present! lol
Viv, I finally sent it! I finally got my card out to my husbands aunt with the kids pics. we dont have any of the youngest because of the mother. *rolling eyes*
How was dinner Theresa? I am glad you got to spend the weekend with your family :) Reply...

I have a friend here from ND but it is raining so we are kind of house bound for now. Might go to town later in the day. Hope you are all well, will check in again later and maybe something better going on. Reply...

Howdy Pawdners! (that is said with my best Az accent.) Just teasing Theresa!
Well, I had quite a day yesterday! I was spose to go to my friends house at about 3:00. She lives up in Mesa. Then we were going to meet another friend and her husband and some others at about 4:00 at a place called Nando's. (It is a great privately owned Mexican rest. was wonderful) any way, I left our house for the about 45 min drive to her house about 1:30 because I wanted to stop at Costco for a few min before I went to her house.
I get on the interstate heading north. Was interstate 10. I got about 20miles from home and traffic came to a dead stop. Sat and waited and waited and talked on the phone and listened to the radio FOREVER! What I had come accross was the traffic back up from that bus that went over with people from Mexico on it headed for Los Angelos. I had asked a deputy sherif if the road was closed and he said no, it had just been reopened when I had filled gas at Casa Grande. So I am all happy and take off not knowing what lay ahead of me. When I finally crept inch by inch up to a turn off at exit 175, I turned off and took a route that got me out of the stand still. I never did get to my friends house. I got the directions to the resturant and went directly there. I got there at almost 5:00. I missed some conversation and that was about all but I don't see these people offen so I had really been looking forward to it.
I feel so sad for the people on that bus. It was here illegally. It had no insurance and the company had been told they could not come over with that bus for safety reasons. 6 dead and many injured. I did not get to see the accident scene cause I turned off but I bet it was terrible.
Theresa, I watched the video of your son. He is a handsome young fello. good luck to him. Did he have a man named Ken Disher for a coach? He was one of my clients when I was still working and I think he is retired now. Hope someone is taking some video for you of the meet. Our son used to swim when he was a 8,9,10 grader but gave it up. He wanted to play football and he also wanted to work so time was the reason. I loved to go watch but you are right, it was hot in there.
Well, gotta go to town and get a prescription for hubby. Hope you have a nice weekend everyone. I have a friend coming in about 10:30 tonight at the airport in Mesa. She is from Minot. I will try to check in from time to time but will be busy so will be limited.
Later ladies!

Good Morning how is everyone today? I am good thanks for asking, again not much happening here. I went to Wal-Mart yesterday just to see what I don’t need, but will buy anyway. Then I went to the Dollar store, I really never buy anything from the dollar store except to buy cards. I needed Saint Patrick’s day cards for friends and customers on the paper route, 2 cards for a dollar, what a deal. They are nice cards also, so you guize know me, I will talk to anyone. So we were standing in line and I always have to talk, kindda like a shark that can’t stop swimming or they will die. So there was a nice older man in front of me, and he was buying some stuff and he looked down at all my cards, I had about 40. He said “Wow that is allot of Saint Patrick’s day cards”, and I replied “I am from Brooklyn, everyone is Irish from Brooklyn except for the Jews, Italians”. A few people in the line started laughing, and the cashier really started laughing. He was a nice looking guy, Native, long black hair, early thirties, oh did I say he was nice looking. I asked him are you Irish and he started to laugh; he said “In all my years, no one has ever asked me that.” So I said, “You know on Patrick’s day, everyone is Irish.” We had a nice conversation while he was ringing up my 40 cards one at one time, it was a nice trip.
On the way home I saw this nice young man walking, who I know from the soup kitchen, his name is Jessie. I asked him if he needed a ride, because it was a little cold. You know it amazing how many nice people are homeless in this town, I can’t understand it. I brought him lunch because I offered and we went to Wendy’s, I love frosty’s, now they have coffee frosty’s, yummy. So I talked to him for a while, he said moved up here with his girlfriend and was working for now as a dishwasher. He has a master’s degree, but there is no place in Minot for him to use it. He has tried everything, he was a teacher where he used to live, but cannot find a job here. He is lucky his dad is going to help him out and bring him back to Florida.
Curly, I was thinking about you yesterday! Do you ever watch “The Doctors”, yesterday they were talking about this rash that people are getting that has not been seen since the 1920’s. I remember you talking about your son’s house, do they have any type of wood toilet bowl seat. There is something in them that forms bacteria that causes the rash! Just a thought, I remember you said they could not find a cause of the rash. I know you have company, but sure was nice talking to you.
KO I didn’t go to the meet because I can’t deal with the crowd. I get panic attacks in crowds like that, and they are hot as anything. That native girl’s team is doing well, I forgot their names sorry. Their coach is an Episcopalian priest. How are all the kids doing? I am going back to NY, in June. I will buy you a smaller T shirt and a glass from New Jersey, I am going to Atlantic City for a day, and Buzz is looking forward to it.
That is it for now. I lovz all youz guize!!
For Shoppe

I wonder if she really thinks that is Sexy?

That is great Shoppe. He is leaving there on the 9th for Fargo cause he is going on leave for 10 days, plus travel days. Not sure when he will be back. It should get there about when he does. You are so kind to do that for him.
He is really lookig forward to seeing his children. It is great that he gets to come home. We will not get to see him because we are down here in Az. He will be busy with his kids and the problems going on there with the oldest. She is doing better by the way. Thank you for the well wishes and prayers. It was pretty bad from what the daughter in law said.
Well, my kitchen and the mess therein awaits me.
