That poor lady in her cutoffs looks about 85.... shouldn't there be a cut off point for cut offs?   LOL

Theresa, my prayers are with you to get better.    Fact.  Your dr said he would stop seeing you if you went to a chiro... fact:  you are still in pain after surgury by a non-chiropractic surgeon...

I would definitely find the best chiro around and go see him for x-rays and consultation.

All non chiro drs hate chiro drs.(and probably visa versa).. its another fact.  But its unbased.   I go to both kinds of drs, and I just love my chrio... He is honest enough to know if he can't help me he lets me know, then I go have surgury.... My chiro cured my migrains, and fixed all my numerous out of joint injuries... But my chiro couldn't give me a total hysterectomy, of course, so I went to a regular lady surgeon and had that done.

I just got back from jury duty last week and I got very angry at one lawyer who tried to make all chiros out as the scum of the earth... Just to get his client off from paying a medical bill....

etc.

yes, its very hot, today is  98  high humidity....

Dentist Monday!!!!   I hate dentist, but this one is pretty painless, so at least I go.. I need a backtooth pulled... living on advil lately.... and no chiros can't fix my teeth either...LOL   haha....

Hello everyone, and how are you? I am so, so, let’s not talk about it. It is great your son is home Curly, did he get that job in DC? I need to go back and reread the posts. Curly I have never been to a Chiropractor, Doctors laugh when I say “Should I go to a Chiropractor“, my doctor even said he will stop seeing me if I go to a Chiropractor, because they make things worse. I personally don’t like anyone touching me like that. I have so many problems with my back and neck and have never tried one. I really believe exercise makes for a better back, and I have a really bad back Curly.

I haven’t been going to the soup kitchen, I pass out without notice so I don’t really leave the house very much, and I still have double vision. I believe the sinus surgery I had in December screwed me up. One of the papers you have to sign for the sinus surgery was that you knew the risks, the number one risks was double vision. So I went and got fitted for glasses yesterday, they need to be prism lenses so I won’t see double. Of course if anyone knows me I had to get Dolce and Gabbana, with all the glitz, (cause I am a glitzy lady) (that’s a joke).

Shoppe how hot is it by you, it seams like the east coast is cooking. My father calles everyday and tells me how hot it is New York. Everyday I say “Dad I am watching the Today Show, I know how hot it is!” Oy Vey! I am going to go for now, my eyes are getting tired. I love you all.

Ko call me if you are ever in the area!

Shoppe for you,

1662CAL

Some Pictures Just make me feel so much better about myself.

Have a nice Day!

I think that would be a great experience Shoppe. My neice is 16 and shes been to El Salvador (last year) and Mexico (the year before) with her church. She is saving to go to Madrid I think?? next year.  Her brother wants to be a priest when he graduates. He is 11. They have a very strong mother and they have been thru alot but they manage to get thru.

I finally went to church last nite.. well it was about 3 hours long but it didnt seem like it. I asked my aunt to sing a song and she wasnt able to because of time restrictions (they had some others come up n talk too) so she gave me a cd of her and her husband singing :):):)  There was a family from SD who came up and sang too. Their daughter sings so beautiful and her boyfriend did a really neat rap song in memory of all his friends who didnt find Jesus n committed suicide.

Oh KISS was pretty good. I was so tired when we got home. It was a nite to remember thats for sure ;)

Morning all..

Yes, Sianna, it the ones on the horses.   After 6 yrs of dating (two of which living together) you should have know if you would make it or not... I don't think they are going to make it.

My son is an all around nice guy.   I don't see this as his problem.   Maybe he just fell madly in love with the wrong person... who knows....

Today is a run around day for me,  paying bills and such.

Samaritans Purse just sent my husband a  Job-Match Questionnaire to fill out, and I wrote back reminding them that he filled one out last month... I sometimes think the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing..

For those who don't know my husband wants to go overseas on a mission trip (building or church planting) for a year or two.  Its just in his heart and  its ok with the family, all of us...

I agree Curly.  There are good and bad drs and chiros....  Have to be very careful.

I have had nothing but good experiences in the past 30 yrs with Chiro.

I pray you and your husband both get healed of your back problems.

I am really happy I do not have to work today.  Yes!  I don't really mind but it has been slow except for yesterday in the dippin dots.

Shoppe, I do not usually go to chiropractors.  Much of my husbands back problems came from a chiro.  He would not release him from care to go see a regular doc.  We had to threaten him with a letter from an attorney.  He was the first doc my hubby went to after his injury so he was considered my husbands primary doctor.  He was a very rough, hard charging milipulations chiro and we are 95% sure he is the one who ruptured two disks and the rest is history.  So no, I do not go as a rule.  I used to though.  I don't usually go to the doctor about my back either.  I just take a few anti inflamatorys and use some ice and it usually gets better on its own.  It is better now in fact.  Thanks for asking.

Aug 4, I know you cannot wait.   His kids will be so excited to have dad home.  Now, is he home for good, or another deployment?

Nothing new here at the moment....

Well here I am.  4:30 in the morning with insomnia and a nasty back ache.  I think the back issue is causing the insomnia.  Took some pain releif pills and hope it will help soon.  Was gonna go to church at 8:30 and on to work at 11:00 but thinking if I do get to sleep I will sleep in.  Yawn!!!!

Working at the fair is going well.  Had a fun day in the dippin dots cart.  Literally, felt like I was digging in it all day.  Kept me cool anyway.  Did a great deal of people watching and there was lots of business.  One little boy was back about 3 times.  With GRandpa twice and Mommy once.  He was so  cute.  He wanted to taste test the ice cream.  I would put some on a spoon and try to hand it to him to eat himself but he just opened his mouth and let me feed him a taste.  Must have been about 4 or so.  Great day.

Not much else new here.  EXCEPT, our son is back on US soil and will be home on August 4th.  WE will go to FArgo to see him that next week end.  He is in Geogia testing for his next stripe.  (captain) He goes back to work for Microsoft in the near future.  I think he is getting a couple of weeks to adjust to his life at home and reconnect with his wife and kids.  So glad.

Well, night folks.  Gonna try again to get some sleep.

Si Ko, I do hope things are working out again with the family.  Its hard to let the little ones go, but it seems he is having a nice time with grammpa..

My husband had to have a physical today because he wants to double his life insurance..... The EMT examined him, took blood and said he has the  weight, blood pressure, and heart of a 25 yr old... Wow... husband is 67...

That was real good news.   Since he had to fast all morning, we went out to Capriccios Pizza and  had a great lunch..

Grandsons just signed up today for Fall baseball (andrew, 9) and soccer (nate, 6)... I have so much fun at their games, keeps me young.

Husband is still wanting to go overseas for a year or two.  SIM ministry seems to be a good place to start, but you have to raise your own funds.   That may be the hard part in this economy.   We shall see.

Otherwise all is fine with me and my family.

The bad news, my son from wilmington nc called yesterday and said the D word.  its only been 8 months since the marriage, but they did live together 2 yrs before that and have know each other 6... things just aren't working out.... I feel very sad for him.    I am totally OK with them breaking up.   Sounds crude I know, but I also know alot of what goes on.   So, pray for my son and his wife (maybe X)....

thanks,

vivian

to those of you on FB with me, please do not mention this at all.  TX

Here is my lifting routine. I go blues, semi blues/semi metal, to full blow metal.

You don't wanna cross me in my metal phase, I am short tempered and high strung. That is nothing a few minutes of maxing out can't fix tho. (on a bad day)

So here is an example I would be listening too

Hey Grant, I'm fine, how about you?

How ya do fishing over the holiday? I camped at the Tailrace and caught 17 'eyes. All catch and release. I hate cleaning Fish. Ha Ha.

Ya know, we could get some of those C-123's out of mothballs and re-equip them to spray Pig grease on Bin Laden. I'm sure Monsanto and DuPont could whip up something for us. Look what they did with "Agent Orange".

Better living? through chemistry. That stuff was sooooo good it even affected me. And I ain't the enemy. A few years ago I had Prostate Cancer, last year I had a tumor show up on my right lung. I am anxiously awaiting the Diabetes and Heart problems. "Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts life". Old song.

I hope and pray  when I reach the "Pearly Gates" St. Pete pushes the "enter" Button and not the Down button. Of course with my luck his keypad will malfunction and I'll have to go to Purgatory for a time.

Best wishes, Bill

JackA. I skimmed through the post.....and perhaps I missed it.....but where is it said or implied that "tax cuts are spending."

If you limit it to those 4 words, you will have an argument, Jack.  However, I think what is implied is this:

  • x = K amount of revenue

  • y = K amount of spending

  • K = constant....a fixed number

  • Suppose x = y, then you have a balanced budget.

  • Suppose you decide to cut x by "1" AKA:  "x - 1". But kept y the same.

  • You have now deficit spent.
