In Article: The History of Honest Abe
I just read the article about this "Honest Abe" President. What sparked this comment response is in the article where it states that the railroad impacted the Native Americans in a very negative way. Now do many, if a few know that this "Honest Abe" in 1862 ordered the execution of 38 Dakota Indian prisoners in Mankato, Minnesota? Those executions were of Holy Men or, Medicine Men as some refer, and Political Leaders of their camp. None of them were responsible for the crimes that they were accused of. Coined as The Largest Mass Execution in U.S. History. That last sentenced I fell should be mentioned in the future as more learning is to be known about President Lincoln. Will the "honesty" be told about "Honest Abe"? Reply...
