I have neighbor who is a grumpy old man.

I don't want to be like him.

I realize that humanty is f'd.

I can't change it, no one can.

I just try to stop people (especially myself) that think they are better then everyone else,  I realize we all have a holes, and we know how to use them.

Sicko, I don't think that you can compare thieves and drug dealers with sex offenders.  I know, if I had to have a choice, I would much rather have to deal with a thief or a drug dealer before I would have to deal with a sex offender.  But, that is just my opinion.

Let me make that a little clearer.  When I say "deal with" I mean if I had to meet one of them in a dark alley.

I have never heard of a sex offender being "healed" of it, have you?

Prison for life, no chance of parole.  Unless the circumstances warrent  Death,  like rape or murder.

Chelsea  was a straight-A freshman at Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora, according to published reports.

She loved music; she played the French horn in the San Diego Youth Symphony and performed in a school concert the night before she went missing. It was the last time her parents would see her alive.

She loved knowledge; she earned straight As and had been accepted by the University of Washington and the University of British Columbia. She wanted to write and study environmental issues. Chelsea's cousin, Stephanie Dorian, described Chelsea as a budding environmental activist and a vegetarian who loved running in nature without headphones.

"She wanted to change the world," Dorian said.

She was strong and healthy; she ran cross-country and loved the Rancho Bernardo trails where the school team ran. Her parents forbade her from running alone, but doing so Thursday was perhaps the most disobedient thing the well-read, college-bound girl had ever done, Dorian said.

She was generous; on the morning of the day she disappeared, she had gone to school early for a peer counseling meeting.

"She's what we all strive to be - - - - a super, well-rounded person," Schaitel said.

Classmate Kelly Flanagan said Chelsea was obviously intelligent. In the Advanced Placement psychology class they shared, Chelsea's contributions were always lively and articulate.

"She was always willing to give an answer or start a class discussion," the Poway High senior said.

On Monday, hundreds of students at Poway High wore blue, Chelsea's favorite color. On Tuesday, they wore orange, to illustrate what many noticed: a characteristic "radiance."

I went to PHS. I don't know the Kings. Very sad. Sad for the family. Sad for the entire community. I know all of the places that are being mentioned very well.......it floored me to find out she is from my hometown.
