Well..you do what you think you need to do Prairie..but you have to think about one thing... do you want to be there for your granddaughter emotionally? or behind bars? Wronging a wrong isnt going to help anyone..just get him off the street and eventually people do get caught specially if you posted that he was married to your daughter and the things you want to do or the ideas. This post will lead to you and if anything does happen..guess what.. you will be the suspect. Let his Karma follow him.  Be there for your daughter and granddaughter and heal emotionally. I know it takes forever and the damage may not go away but the pain does ease some. Think Prairie..Think. Reply...

Too often the creeps get out to rape and kill again.  Our justice system stinks.   You can kill someone and only get 3 yrs, I have seen it.

It may get to the point where people will begin to deal with the perverts in society.

Today NYC, subway.. a crowd cowers as a man kills another young man over a seat.   Why don't people stick up for others instead of cowering in the corner?

The man was sliced lots of time with a pocket knife on his face and neck..... lots of time means someone ANYONE could have been a good samaratin.

We know there's a lot of it going on in society, but I really don't think we can even begin to know how much.  How many female and males does this happen to and they never tell anybody?  It does, however, usually affect the person later on in life with mental problems, alcolol and drug abuse, and even those it happens to doing it to others when they grow up.

We need to find out why it is happening as well as punishing the perpetrators.  And yes, shoppe, I think they should be "taken care of".  I don't disagree with you on that one.

Since I started working at the State Hospital I have come to realize how much of this stuff goes on.  The victims of this kind of abuse are some of our patients.  And it messes them up real good for life.  Has this kind of stuff been going on forever or does it seem like it's gotten worse?  What the heck is going on?  Right close to where I live there is a very similar situation.  It has been reported to social services and has been investigated but the child involved will not tell on her dad.  And so it goes on.  One of my co-workers said it happened to her when she was growing up.  It was her adopted father.  One of my friends and schoolmates was a victim of this by her step father as she was growing up, and another friend of mine was raped by her uncle when she was 12 and her mother wouldn't believe her.  What a sick society we are Reply...

Well PF, the state law wont help you much in your mission, and I dont imagine beings on reservation the BIA will not handle the situation .  However they will do something about you.  Even if you got off the res the state police would be more than happy to help out the BIA,  Unfortunately the state cannot go onto Indian land to enforce it's laws, that I know of ?

The world is frustrateing for many but count to 10 and then puff the peace pipe you dont want to spend life with 4 walls and a cot, healthcare, library, free meals.  I am not sure what the pay rate is in prison but you dont have any expenses so comes out the same as living at home stairing at walls, paying for meals, paying for healthcare, paying taxes and going to work. Thinking  I think I just talked you in circles.  But I think you know what I mean.

Its not the first time or girl that this has happend to, it like a sickness that  has taken over .  You should, if you really care, stick around for this child.  She may need someone like you someday to be around for her.  It wont end anything if you go after this yourself, but make an already worse problem worse.

For anyone to egg you on is not concerned about you or the child, and  maybe part of problem.
