I don't believe the answer is to weed out anyone by race, religion, or gender (and gender is not ALL encompasing).........what needs to be done is to weed out those that are phony soldiers, those that are NOT in it to serve, not in it to do whatever job needs to be done when called to serve.  Weed out the phony soldier, and we would not have had this problem...............it's that simple.

The only thing about this story that makes me chuckle is the thought of Hasan waking up, paralyzed, in a hospital......................no where near Allah - bummer for Hasan . Reply...

Good Morning everyone, how are you today? I am not complaining, and who really cares. I am heading out to go to the Bazaars in town this morning all by myself, First Lutheran and another one. I love bazaars and I have extra money, and that is not a good thing. I love the food; First Lutheran makes this yummy creamy turkey sandwich with all the fixings.  So if anyone wants to come, call me, it will be a fun morning, I am leaving in an hour, new friends and good food what else is there.

Curly the netty pot is a great thing, it clears you right out, the first time you do it, you will think I don’t know about this, and then you will be addicted when you get not feeling well. They sell them at CVS also.

Well I am going to go for now, if anyone wants to come call me 720-8001, I’ll pick you up in an hour.

Have you heard that Hasan participated in Homeland Security Policy Institute's presidential task force transition last year?  Hmmm, I don't know about you, but that brings me no comfort.  Homeland Security?  Would that be the same department headed of by Janet Napolitano?  THEE Janet Napolitano who was responsible for that stupid threat list memo that got leaked awhile back and pi$$ed of the conservatives and veterans groups?  OMG, people!!!  Take a look at who is running our country and WHERE they are running it to.....................something does not add up with this Hasan character.  I also heard that Homeland Security had their eye on HIM for some 6 months prior to the shootings - does any of this make any sense? Care, the muslims leaders haven't said anything publicly, at least not that I've heard.  I did hear that muslim communities were to be ready for repraisal violence, although I never heard who told them that........................seems almost like some one on the top wants to stir the pot even more. I am curious....has anyone heard of any Muslim leaders speaking out against any of the violence we hear about? There have been recent mercy killings...you know the Muslim dads who kill their daughters because they become too western. Now this massacre.  Where are the Muslim leaders? Why haven't one of them come out and said he we don't condone this,  we don't agree with this type of behavior....something....where are the Muslim leaders? Reply...

This has been an interesting thread, not because of the tragedy, but because the comments reveal the transcendental vapidity of so many of the commentators.
S.G. has again exposed herself as a spokesperson for the absolute worst of America. Blintz, exemplifies the frothing at the mouth hate, representative of a virulent streak of hate, rampant in the farthest right portion of American society...
That's not the point:
The point is, that the rest of the readers have had yet another chance to read this kind of drivel. To understand what the belly of the beast represents.

These are the kind of Americans we must be ashamed of.
These are the kind of Americans we do NOT want representing our country
This kind of thinking must be corralled, and quarantined.

That's  OUR job

This creep went in with guns blazing shouting "Allahu Akbar", which has several different meanings, depending on the situation, makes me wonder what this losers meaning was?  I wish the families of the dead could decide his punishment.  There is so much to still be revealed about this story - I don't think we will ever be privy to the whole truth..............within a very short time of the killings at Ft. Hood, the media was saying that the gunman was dead - about two hours or so later, the gunman is reported alive, in stable condition, on a respirator .  I can understand terrible confusion at the scene immediatly following the incident................BUT, reports are that none of the other servicemen were armed...........so...........why the confusion on whether the gunman was dead?  Wouldn't he have been the only dead body with a weapon on or near it?  This doesn't make sense to me. Kimberly Munley - A TRUE HERO!!!!  Man, she makes me proud!!!  I have heard different things about this whole story, first I heard she was shot in both legs, then I heard she was shot in the back and in the head - which is true, I dunno.  I also heard she was directing traffic moments before the shooting started - I don't know much about law enforcement, but would she have been wearing body armor while directing traffic?

Kimberly, THANK YOU for stopping this jerk-off!!!!!!  She did what she had been trained to do.  God Bless!

The ammo shot and from what gun is really just BS. I could kill a cop with a knife or a baseball bat or my hand and feet if I wanted too.

Seriously lets go talk to Officer Munley how her body armor faired against this gun... Reply...

I'm all for the freedom to own a firearm, but not this kind...

Official: Gun Used At Ft. Hood Dubbed 'Cop Killer'

Type Of Ammo For FN 5.7 Can Pierce Bulletproof Vests

Records indicate Hasan bought the FN 5.7 at store called "Guns Galore" in Killeen, Texas, in recent months and that gun was used in the attack that left 13 people dead, one of the officials said. The pistol has been dubbed a "cop killer" by those who have tried to stop its use.

Army officials said Hasan also was carrying another handgun.

One of the law enforcement officials said that gun was an older model Smith & Wesson .357-caliber revolver, but the official added there's nothing so far to indicate the second weapon was fired. The official said the revolver was so old, investigators doubt it could be traced to a specific purchase.

The most powerful type of ammunition for the FN 5.7 gun is available only to law enforcement and military personnel. Gun control advocates call it a "cop killer" weapon because that ammo can pierce bulletproof vests, and its use by Mexican drug cartels worries police. Reply...

A North Dakota man is one of the 31 wounded in yesterday's attack at Fort Hood, Texas.

Sgt. Patrick Blue the Third of Belcourt, part of the 101st Airborne's Second Brigade was shot by the man who killed 13 people when he opened fire at the military's largest base. Blue's father lives in Belcourt and talked with us by phone this afternoon.

He says his son is doing well and was released from the hospital in Texas today.

Sgt. Blue's father says his son is going through post-combat psychiatric care and saw the shooter, a military psychiatrist, often.

(Patrick Blue II / Father of Shooting Victim) "We talked for a little bit, we talked about the shooter. He's a psychiatrist there who works with the guys when they come back from Iraq. He's seen the guy every day, he never thought something like that would happen.

Sgt. Blue was caught in the crossfire and wounded in his side after walking into the room where the shooting was taking place. watch the video Reply...

Blintz represents a virulent streak of hate, rampant in this country, impeding its progress at every opportunity. The problem with her is that there remain some f'ing idiots who agree with her. People like her represent failure. She does not represent intelligent commentary on any issue. You could write whatever she's going to say before she writes it.

Hey Pets here is what he said and what is has to do with FT Hood is what he didn't say... Like I am sorry for your loss. In the Liar in Chiefs own words

:Peanut Gallery in Chief is out telling the Native Americans "he grew up like them: an "outsider" who grew up without a father ( married Kenyan skanking a white girl in the foothills of Kansas in the late 50's) moving around a lot (according to them they are trapped on the reservation) and understanding what it is like to struggle and be ignored... he assured them they will not be forgotten as long as he's in the white house.... Truth is he went to a private school in Hawaii and then to Harvard....
