Shoppe..hope your son is feeling better. This strain of pneumonia is scary!! One of my relatives almost passed away but she pulled thru. Young, she had just given birth to her child n she caught it. Last I heard she was still in the hospital.
Care..I used to watch GL when I was younger. Billy n Reva were my favorites. I learned about them ending when i was watching Who wants to be a Millionaire about 3 weeks ago so it was a surprise! Reply...

Ive known him for quite a number of years..n everytime I saw him he said he was doing good. It just baffles me some days n how people..fake it til they make it..or just fake it all together n not talk to anyone. I know he had quite a number of good friends he could talk to. I think Im goin to try go up for his funeral..depending on. My ex-husband knew him too from work related things. Geez Curly you could have stopped in Garrison on your way back from Riverdale! lol
I am so proud of your son!
Now i forgot what everyone posted..gotta go back n re-read lol Reply...

That sounds like our grand-daughter. When you sleep with her you need to wear a football suit with lots of protection. She and my husband took a nap when she was really little and he decided if he ever napped with her again he was going to wear a groin protector cause she kicks like a mule. She is a cute mule though I miss the little tyke. Hard to believe she is almost nine now.
OUr son is in Washington DC today. so is wife. He nominated his company (Microsoft) that he works for in his civilian job for a national award for employers who go beyond the normal for NG troops. Well, long story short, they won second place and are having an award ceremony in DC for all the winners. So the guard sent him to be there and be part of the ceremony. His wife could come as well but they had to pay here way. So I will keep you posted and if I get a picture I will try to post it.
Today, I wanted to paint outside but it is too hot on the south side of our house if it is much above 70. At least too hot for me. I keep thinking it would cool down but not yet. Sounds like it will be warm again today. I have some furniture I want to strip might do that. ORRRR I could do some quilting. I am making our son a quilt for Christmas and it has his company logo and the logo for KFOR 12 on it. That is the name of the mission to Kosovo he is on. I got a good start the other day when I went to Riverdale to my friends house. She is good at that kind of thing and I needed help getting going.
I sure do hope your son is feeling better soon Shoppe. I will pray for him. I know that it usually responds well to meds once a person starts but still takes a while to get over it.
I was sad to hear about another person who took their life. My husband knew him a little bit. I am not sure how but he said he seemed like a nice guy. I sure wish people would reach out for help for their problems instead. It almost seems like a double tragedy. How the family misses them plus the guilt and stigma that so often goes with it even though it is not their fault. It is a tragedy is all I can say.
Well, later ladies! Reply...

Hello? Hello? Can you hear me? LOL! Is this finally working? Holy crap....I thought I would go into withdrawals. What a horrible feeling being able to read but respond....
I only jumped on to see if there were any changes and woolah!!! I haven't read any post yet today. I am afraid to jump off...I might not get back on!!!! LMAO!!!
How are you guys? I missed you all sooooo much!!!!!! Well as you know I have had pc probs for a few days or is it this site? Actually it is this site because I used my bosses laptop and logged in, got all the way through to the NO CURSOR part where I can't type!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Darn it!!!!! That is all ok, if, all is well now.
So let's see, I have nothing to talk about....hahahahahahah!!!!! Figures, I am so shocked that I am typing, I am at a loss for words. Let's see, I'm thinking, thinking, oh I know...my house is QUIET at the moment. Rol took the kids out of school early and brought them to the track...100 miles away for Johnboy to practice motox before his race Sunday. He got there to find it closed!!!! A sign hanging on the gate stating no water. So Rol walked down and spoke with Big Randy (he is of average size, he has a son Lil Randy, Shelb's boooyyyyfriend!!!!,LOL) Seems that the pond went dry...no water to water the track, and Big Randy was in the hosp[ital for a couple of days due to asthma. The hose was screwed up also...so the track was dry. VERY DRY!! Rol and Big Randy talked...when BR realized that he had driven from Biddeford...he told him to stay, hadn't charge him the $20 admission and allowed johnboy use of the track after he got it somewhat wet. Rol was going to try to pay him a second time, we'll see if BR ends up charging him or not. The dude is super good that way...maybe too "good" because he isn't going to make money doing that. Then if he doesn't make money he loses money and eventually sells, closes or something!!!! I want to see the guy stay above....he doesn't have to get filthy rich...hahahahahaha, but no need to give it all away. Let Rol pay the $20 and we are happy with not getting turned away!!! Does that make sense? Does to us! I am sooooo excited that I am here. If I don't come back you'll know why and you can catch me on FB!!!!!
Love ya!!!!! care29 xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxox
It's the best day everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!! For real this time....no pretends!!!! LMAO!!!! Reply...

Well..the nurse didnt tell me the clinic doesnt open on Wednesdays til 1pm n so drove all the way over there for nothing basically. I wasnt going to waste a whole day of PTO for that..so Im back at work. I havent had my cholesterol checked YET. One of these days I will though. I called the husband to let him know I was in town but..he fell asleep n he sleeps pretty hard so I didnt get to see him this morning either and I called my dads number and his phone was shut off..so I just came back. GRR!! I did get my enrollment card replaced n my name updated FINALLY.
Umm.. not much else is going on here. This morning I got up n went to get in the shower..I turned around n rugrat scared the heck out of me because he was sooo quiet when he came in! He took his shirt off n pamper off n jumped in the shower with me. LOL he would not let me get in the water..he kep sayin Its My Turn! Then he didnt wanna get dressed..n when he did, he wanted his wet towel back on..so I gave him a fuzzy blanket..then i found his smaller Spiderman one n he went to daycare wrapped up in that. he got there n flopped on the floor n wanted covered up.
I cant wait for the weekend! Friday is my goddaughters birthday n my ex is going to bring the kids down n he is goin to her bday since he is ALSO her godfather. Saturday we are going to be roasting corn at my parents house. Sunday I WILL be in Minot There's A...I will definitely give you a call Saturday/Sunday if youre not too busy! Husband will be going to Billings for a concert..that sucker!! I wanted to go to the concert tonite at the All Seasons..but no funds to do that. Gotta save up for the kids n the Hannah Montana Movie n I wanted to go to My Sisters keeper on Saturday...im cheap entertainment lol Reply...

Good morning or afternoon, I am sorry you are not feeling well Shoppe. I have allergies also, mostly cats, I just see a cat and I wheeze. If a cat scratches me or bites me I go into shock, so I steer clear of cats. Otherwise I am fine, my doctor’s appointment did not amount too much yesterday, more CAT scans. This town needs some good doctors. Shoppe how come you are not lighting up the forums about Jimmy Carters remarks about BO, enough about that we don’t discuss politics here. Care is having problems replying with the forums, I still think it is the smileys.
Shoppe I am not a big fan of Ice cream also, if I do, I do it big. Beg and Jerry’s Chunky Monkey, I love it but I stay away from it, I am down a few more pounds. I also am looking forward the new Bruce Willis movie, what is your favorite Bruce Willis movie? I LOVE the “Fifth Element”, love it, and love it! I went and bought a high definition TV just to watch that movie redone in High Definition, of course all the cop movies.
Marilyn, this is not Bed and Breakfast house, it is very rectangle in shape, not real pretty. The x owner was a big doctor in town with 7 kids; he had this house built for space and the kids. It is all poured cement, with cedar shingles, the wood peckers are always pecking on it. There is a formal dining room, but that is because he liked parties. There is beautiful B and B not far from me, “The Dakota Rose”, the house is pink, and built in the early 1900’s, it is beautiful. They serve dinner there by reservations only, my husband took me for my birthday, and it was really nice.
KO, so why do you have High cholesterol in your blood? Have you ever read a book it is called “EAT RIGHT FOR YOUR TYPE”, here is a link
http://www.amazon.com/Eat-Right-Your-Type-Individualized/dp/039914255X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1253117117&sr=8-1
I signed out of Billy’s account this time, did anyone notice last time I sent a link for a book; it went right into Billy’s Account. It was okay, you can’t do anything without a password.
It explains how in our ancestry our genetic composition determines what we should eat. I am type O negative, meat eater. I lose a lot of weight if all I eat is steak and leafy vegetables. Type A is rice eaters, and fishermen. It is a good book, it changed the way I eat, and I just need to stay away from cookies. That is in no one genetic makeup for cookies or sugar, I love sugar. It is difficult to stay away from cookies when I work the soup kitchen every week, there is some good cookies down there, the kutchen, is unbelievable. That is one good thing people in Minot love to drop off food at the soup kitchens.
Ko When I was 16 I was a cigarette girl at Yankee stadium. I used to go home with $300.00 a day in tips; it was all about the T and A and I had it. I paid cash for a Corvette when I was 18. No one told me that you had to pay insurance and the gas killed me. When I was in the Air Force I had to work part time to keep up the insurance and gas, but I looked good in that car.
Care I know you are out there, we are waiting for a sign. I know you are reading this stuff, I know it is difficult to remain quiet. Did you check HP on line; they have great deals right now on laptops. I love my laptop; I am waiting for the new windows to come out to buy a new one. Here is a link,

I loved Patrick. Especially Ghost and Dirty dancing. He studied dance and his mom was into dance.
a real ladies man. Too bad he won't get the coverage that Michael Jackson got.
My allergies are still there, but I am feeling better. We even went to see GI-Joe movie last night, wasn't half bad. I had expected it too be terrible, but it was ok..
Waiting for the new BRUCE WILLIS movie out this month... anything BRUCE WILLIS IS FINE with me..
AND my second fav actor DENZEL WASHINGTON is coming out with a new one next year. Saw the previews, looks good.
So, ladies , have a great day, hug your kids, kiss your hubbies, EAT SOME ICE CREAM.... haha.. Reply...

I don't like ice cream unless it has a very large amount of HOT FUDGE sauce on it. Plain ice cream is in no danger of me eating it.
I'm sick of this site too. Too slow and too much crap popping up here and there, plus the lousy attitudes and racism is making me sick. Enough is enough. A little kindness and tolerance goes a long way. Reply...
