EXTENDED FORECAST
(Sunday Night through Friday)
After an extended period of high pressure dominance and beautiful November weather, a pattern change is on the horizon as a cold front ushers in cooler temperatures beginning on sunday and lasting into next week. In addition, the jetstream (which has been situated unusually far to the north this month) will migrate southward into the northern plains. This will commence a more active weather pattern which, in turn, will bring better opportunities for precipitation. Some light rain and/or snow is possible monday and light snow is possible tuesday as low pressure passes through followed by an upper level disturbance. Right now it doesn't look significant but at this time of year things can change very quickly and with Thanksgiving right around the corner upcoming forecasts should be monitored. The current information supports a return to quiet and mild weather wednesday and Thanksgiving day.
