Brooke Williams is excited to be back with KX News, where she began her television news broadcast career. Originally from Florida, Brooke graduated from Florida State University with a degree in criminology and obtained her Master’s in journalism from the City University of New York.
She originally began her KX News career as a bureau reporter in Williston. During her time there, Brooke covered several major news stories including construction of the Williston Basin International airport and the Hedderich’s building fire. She also reported on issues faced by North Dakotans injured on the job who sought compensation through the state’s Workforce Safety & Insurance program.
In addition to her time spent in North Dakota, Brooke has also worked as an anchor and investigative reporter in Roanoke, Virginia. She enjoys reporting on criminal justice issues, including wrongful convictions.
When she’s not at work, you can find Brooke playing Bingo or attending a community theatre performance.
