CBP officers seize counterfeit coolers in Portal

Crime Tracker

Counterfeit coolers with an estimated manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $151,149, if the goods had been genuine, were seized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Portal Port of Entry from a rail container on July 27.

CBP officers say they inspected the rail container and discovered the coolers, which are in violation of intellectual property rights (IPR) regulations.
