The whole garden is more than 2,300 acres with a colorful landscape of thousands floral arrangements.

The International Peace Garden is a dedication of the peace between the U.S. and Canada.

This year, the Peace Garden is working on a ‘Canada150’ arrangement to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation.
Horticulture staff plants at least 100,000 flowers each Spring that brings the land back to life after a long winter.
The formal garden has the bulk of the flowers, but many other areas are covered as well, making it for a tranquil, beautiful, and colorful sight to see.

(Connie Lagerquist/Horticulture Staff) “We’re a beautiful place for a wedding, an anniversary, or just a nice place in the evening to come and stroll through the gardens. People say there is no peace left on earth, no we beg to differ here.”

Canada’s 150th celebration will be held June 17th at one pm as well as June 18th at four pm.
