A 10-year-old was ejected from a vehicle during a crash near Valley City this morning.
The child was sleeping and had no restraints on him when the driver lost control during icy road conditions on Interstate 94.
The 2004 Avalanche, that was traveling 60 miles per hour on the interstate, slid sideways into the median and then rolled.
At that time the child was ejected.
The child came to rest on the left shoulder of the westbound lane.
And the vehicle stopped on it’s wheels in the median
The other four occupants of the vehicle were treated for minor injuries.
The 10-year-old was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
