To help celebrate the 100th anniversary of children’s book week… Main Street Books is hosting events each day.
The week focuses on why books are so important for kids.
Ms. Kristi shared stories and songs with kids at the Minot book store.
“There’s just something about picking up a book, the smell of the book, the look of the pictures. The picture looks much different on a printed page than it does on a tablet. I like that, that’s how I grew up so I like to do that with them,” said parent Sarah Bakke.
This year’s theme is read now, read forever.
