$150,000 Powerball ticket sold in Minot

Someone who bought a North Dakota Powerball with Power Play lottery ticket in Minot is $150,000 richer today.

During Wednesday night’s drawing, a ticket sold at the Holiday Station store on South Broadway matched four white balls and the Powerball.

The normal Powerball prize was $50,000, but because the person also bought the Power Play option, the total was multiplied by 3, for a final winning amount of $150,000.

According to the North Dakota State Lottery, no one has yet contacted the office to pick up their winnings.

People have 180 days from the date of the drawing to turn in their winning tickets and claim their prizes.

The winning numbers last night were 23, 28, 41, 53 and 56. The Powerball number was 14.

This is the third time so far in 2018 there has been a Powerball with Power Play winner in North Dakota for $100,000 or more.
