After months of investigations, a successful search warrant was executed on Friday at a property in McKenzie County.

Northwest Narcotics Task Force and the Arnegard Police Department worked together to search 210 Madison Street in Arnegard as well as a trailer on the property. Two people were arrested and charges are pending. Three other residents are also facing charges.

The investigation started in May when David Rodabaugh was contacted on the property for suspicious behavior. He led an officer on vehicle pursuit for 27 miles that ended in Rodabaugh crashing his vehicle. Police then discovered 12 grams of methamphetamine.

Then in June – Donald Beane II was driving with a revoked driver’s license when he spotted an Arnegard officer and made a u-turn and went back to that same property. When asked to keep his hands in the air – he made a movement to his right pocket so police tased him.

Once handcuffed Bean tried to grab a bag of methamphetamine located on his person with his mouth.
Police found more than thousand dollars, methamphetamine residue, brass knuckles, and a stun gun in his vehicle. Rodabaugh and Bean II are both being held at the McKenzie County Correctional Facility

Another resident will also be charged following the search.
