St. Mary’s Catholic Church had their 2nd annual Trunk or Treat Event.
The event was from 2 to 4pm and offered kids and parents a safe environment to go trick or treating. The parking lot was filled with games, candy, and even a petting zoo. Organizers say they tripled the amount of people from last year. There were 17 trunks that participated in the event which brought in over a thousand people.
The Trunk or Treat Event Coordinator, Mike Ulmen, says he loves putting on the event because of the great atmosphere it brings.
“My favorite part of the event is to see the smile on the kids and they just to get to try out their costumes before the whole big event of Halloween. And just the networking aspect and working with other people that have the same vision,” says Ulmen.
Ulmen says they hope to bring in even more people for next years event.
