A 29-year-old Colorado man was arrested during a routine traffic stop on I-94 after a Morton County Sheriff’s Deputy found 30 lbs. of marijuana in the man’s vehicle.
The traffic stop happened at 4:30 p.m. on December 13th. The driver was going from Medford, Oregon to Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was pulled over for a speeding violation.
According to the Morton County Sheriff’s Department, during the stop their deputy noticed the man’s behavior to be indicative of trafficking a controlled substance.
K9 Gabber was then deployed and he noticed an odor of an illegal substance.
The vehicle was then searched and authorities found 30 lbs. of marijuana, valued at approximately $30,000.
The Colorado man was charged with possession of a controlled substance with an intent to deliver, a Class A felony.
