A 39 year old man was arrested last night in Minot for fleeing a peace officer after being pulled over for expired motorcycle registration. The driver, Arthur Hudson Jr. was found a few minutes later walking through a neighborhood.

Once the driver was searched, officers discovered marijuana and marijuana hash on him. Troopers searched the area and located the motorcycle. A canine officer found Hudson’s backpack in the same area as the motorcycle.

6 oz of meth was in the backpack; a street value of 7,200 dollars. There was also a large amount of cash and prescription pills.

The driver was booked into Ward County Jail for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and other drug and criminal charges.
