A 7-year-old boy in Fargo passed away Tuesday following a weekend crash involving alcohol.
Jason Devine was taken off life support at Sanford Tuesday, and his organs will be donated.
His 5-year-old brother Branden remains hospitalized in critical condition at Sanford Children’s Hospital.
Jason and Branden were in the back seat of a car being driven by their father, 31-year-old Christopher Devine.
Christopher is facing drunk driving charges. He was driving the car that police say was out of control when it crashed into another and hit a light pole just west of a Lutheran Church Saturday.
Family friends are raising money for what they call funeral and medical expenses.
Christopher is still in the hospital, he will be jailed upon release.
