A Different Type of Office Comes To Town

Katy Schiele’s first day of work in Bismarck wasn’t exactly a walk in the park.

“It was a disaster. I forgot a power cord, my headset and I was just flustered in a new place,” says Katy Schiele.

Katy has worked from home for nearly four years. But after moving to Bismarck a month ago, working from her kitchen table became much more difficult.

“When we were in our last house, the whole house was my office. I kind of migrated around so we knew that wasn’t going to happen in the rental that we are in right now,” says Katy.

That was until Katy and her husband Justin found the Workantile.

“It’s beautiful. It’s a cool space to come to everyday. It’s high energy,” says Katy.

“This has been a really great place to come and be effective,” says Justin Schiele.

It’s a co-working space right in the heart of downtown Bismarck.
It can be used as a meeting space, gathering place or in Katy and Justin’s case an office space.

“Honestly I think I am more effective here because there’s not some of the office sidebar conversations or some of things that are going on in the office,” says Justin.

“When we come here we are in work mode and we can take calls without bothering each other,” says Katy.

Katy says they have even established who sits where.

“That’s my officle and I just automatically go there everyday,” says Katy.

As for Justin, well he likes the desk alongside the wall.

You can find the Workantile between the Toasted Frog and Sweet Treats.
It is open Monday through Friday from 9 till 4
