Actor Jan-Michael Vincent, best known for his role in the 1980s television series, “Airwolf,” has died at 74.
According to the entertainment website TMZ, Vincent actually died on February 10th after suffering cardiac arrest while a patient at a North Carolina hospital.
He was later cremated.
Jan-Michael Vincent had a long career in television and the movies.
“Airwolf,” reportedly made him TV’s highest-paid actor, earning $200,000 per episode. The show and its star were popular, but tales of cocaine abuse by Vincent led to the series’ demise after a handful of seasons, and later took its toll on his acting career.
