After lengthy search Bismarck man taken into custody for attempted murder

A 21-year-old Bismarck man is charged with attempted murder and tampering with evidence after a shooting Tuesday morning in Bismarck.
Williams was taken into custody at about 6:30 this morning.
Bismarck Police had been searching for him since Tuesday.
At about 9:30 pm last night, Bismarck Police received information that Williams was at a NE Bismarck hotel.
When they attempted to contact him he fled on foot.
He was pursued by law enforcement but was not located.
A reverse 911 call was put in place in an effort to keep the public informed.
Those within the call radius were asked to lock their windows and doors and alert the PD if they saw something suspicious.
A K-9, a Highway Patrol aircraft, the SWAT team and a hostage negotiator were all involved in the search.
Police suspended the search around 1 am.
A tip came in at 2:30 a.m. with information that Williams may be at a a residence on Yorktown Drive.
After a perimeter was set up, Williams gave himself up to authorities without incident.
Williams made his initial appearance in court this morning the charges have a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison
