A Bismarck man is in jail after a several hour stand-off with the Bismarck PD and the SWAT team.

The Bismarck PD say officers responded to a domestic violence call earlier in the weekend, and were able to leave without arresting anyone.

At around 7:30 Saturday, June 3rd, they responded to a residence where a man had barricaded himself inside.

The SWAT team was later called in.

At around 1 am , the man gave himself up without incident and police charged him with menacing, interfering with a 911 call, and simple assault.

He is being held at the Burleigh-Morton Jail.
