UPDATE 4:50pm:
A semi truck was stuck under a bridge for several hours.
This is the second time in the last two weeks that this has happened– at the same location.
At just past 10 this morning, Minot Police responded to a semi truck stuck at the 6th street underpass.
Due to the amount of damage to the trailer– the property on board had to be unloaded first
–causing the northbound lane to shut down.
The truck driver said he did not see the clearance sign and thought he could fit.
“Even after last time we started reviewing some things to make sure that is everything in place that needs to be, and we haven’t found anything that’s so outside of where the regulations are– there’s signs,” said Captain Klug of the Minot Police Department.
After several hours the truck was finally removed and 6th street reopened.
