Airmen Back in ND After Long Deployment

It was a special homecoming for a group of airmen today.

At Minot Air Force Base…Family members and fellow airmen welcomed home more than 400 men and women who’ve been deployed to the Middle East for the past six months.

Here’s a look at today’s emotional arrival.

“You gonna be looking forward to seeing your daddy?”

“Can you say yes?”

“Are you gonna give your daddy a hug and a kiss?”

“I hope so.”

“Can you wave your flag?”

“So he’s missed a lot but that ends today and we’re really grateful.”

“Hi bubs, what is that?”

“How’s it feel?”

“It’s great – great – can’t even express. Give me a high five?  Alright!”

The base’s deployed B-52s stayed in the middle east – and another group of about 400 airmen will head there from Minot soon.
