A man has been traveling all over the country this month to help out our fellow veterans.
His name is Rodney Smith Junior from Alabama, and he’s going to all 50 states, cutting the lawn of at least one veteran in each state.
He came to Fargo last year. Well, he came back today, but thanks to mother nature, he wasn’t able to mow a lawn that was sopping wet.
Rodney tells us he does this as a thank you to those who have served our country.
Smith Jr. explains, “Encouraging others to step up and do more I have chosen to mow lawns for veterans for free and others may want to fix their cars or pay for their meals or pay for their gas.”
Rodney has been to dozens of states including Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.
