Good Friday morning! Wind has already increased with a west/northwest sustained wind of 15 to 25 mph. Throughout the day expect sustained winds of 20 to 25 with gusts to 25 and 35 mph. A mostly sunny sky with temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Tonight, wind will taper only a bit with 15-20 sustained and gusts to 25 mph.
Saturday, a chance for light snow. Around a half of an inch of new snow accumulation is possible. Wind stays strong out of the northwest all day. Sustained wind speeds of 20-25 and gusts to 30 mph will blow any new snow around and reduce visibility. Highs return to the lower 30s for most.
Sunday, a partly sunny day with a few lingering light snow showers in the morning. Highs return to the lower to mid 30s. Much lighter wind is in store for the second half of the weekend with a west and northwest wind of 10-15 mph.
We start the next work week off with strong northerly wind and warm temperatures for Monday. A cooling trend through the week leads to highs eventually landing in the teens by Wednesday.
