Good Thursday morning! Temperatures are dropping into the upper teens for most this morning. A mostly clear sky with strong westerly wind. Drifting snow has impacted travel most of the morning from the 15 to 25 mph winds gusting to around 25 and 30 mph. They will taper this afternoon but will pick back up with an Alberta Clipper that will swing through Friday.
Expect a warm up tomorrow back into the upper 20s to lower 30s. Strong wind from the west and northwest will increase to around 20 and even 35 mph gusting to 40 and 45 mph. Blowing and drifting snow will be another issue. Light snow is expected along the Canadian border with the possibility of a couple of inches in the Turtle Mountains.
Saturday and Sunday, cooler temps mostly in the upper teens to lower 20s with a cloudier sky for Sunday. A chance for snow Monday. Right now the better chance is for the southern half of the state. The accumulation will be light.
