It certainly doesn’t feel like August out there! As many students are scurrying back to school, they may be wearing light jackets this morning! Highs will top out anywhere from 10 to 15 degrees below average and mostly in the mid 60s to lower 70s. Increasing clouds throughout the day with scattered light rain/sprinkles across the north. The best chance for sunshine will be in the southern half of the state. Winds will certainly be noticeable today as they will come out of the west and northwest and rise to 20 and 25 mph, gusting to around 30 mph.
Tonight, lighter wind with decreasing clouds and cooler lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Luckily, the wind will not be a factor throughout the day on Thursday. A general decrease in clouds will allow us to warm back into the 70s.
Friday, light rain chances mostly in the south with highs returning to the 70s. The rain chances linger into Friday night and decrease throughout Saturday. Highs will eventually return to the 80s by Sunday.
