Bismarck is in another top 10 list, this one for best small cities in which to start a small business.

In this one, Go.Verizon.com, an authorized brand partner of Verizon, gathered data from nearly 300 cities across the country, focusing on factors that indicated the financial climate of each city, including population, education, income per capita, loans per capital, broadband access, tax scores and others.

After tabulating the data, the list was ranked and a top 10 was determined.

Out of the 300 cities considered, Bismarck came in at #10.

“Bismarck may seem like it’s in the middle of nowhere, but nothing could be further from the truth,” the survey notes. “It’s actually one of the fastest growing cities in the nation, and has better access to the internet than most of the other cities listed.”
