An old time favorite is well underway to reopen.
Apple Grove Golf Course was destroyed in the 2011 flood.
Six years later the owners decided it was time to bring it back.
The new course will feature nine holes, which can get done in about an hour.
There are a few improvements still to be made, but Aasen landscaping finally laid out the course’s grass.
“All but two holes have been changed, new greens, tee’s we’ve extended the lengths so they’re longer. I think -It’s a little more challenging-I think everybody is going to enjoy it,” said part owner Don Aasen.
They hope to open the course to the public next summer.
