Bismarck Police arrested one adult male and cited two juvenile males in connection with multiple vehicle break-ins Saturday morning.

They responded to the 900 block of Riverview Drive at 12:44 a.m. for a report of three masked individuals in the area. The suspects were located, and as officers were speaking to them, a call came in saying someone saw three people searching cars. Bismarck Police asked for consent to search a backpack one of the suspects was wearing. Inside, they found a couple purses and other items not appearing to have belonged to them.

Officers then checked the area and located multiple vehicles that have been gone through. In all, they found 11. All were unlocked.

The one adult, and 18-year-old from South Dakota, was placed under arrest for breaking into a motor vehicle. It has been sent to the city attorney for review.
