Attempted Murder Charges Dropped in Peterson Case


Attempted murder charges have been dropped against a former Mercer County jail employee.Michael Keith Peterson faced two counts after firing an AR-15 over 30 times in a Beulah motel lobby in February.

No one was injured and Peterson admitted he had been drinking.
He reached a plea agreement in the case and has agreed to plead guilty to four counts of reckless endangerment.
Peterson will be sentenced in January.
