Authorities Say 29-year-old Parshall Woman Died of Hypothermia

Carmen Fighting Bear’s body was discovered early Wednesday near Parshall, ND. The North Dakota Medical Examiner’s Office has determined through autopsy that the 29-year-old died due to exposure. Authorities say there is no threat to the citizens of the Parshall area.

This incident is currently under investigation by the Three Affiliated Tribes Law Enforcement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the US Attorney’s Office.
