Baseball: Reps battle Senators

The Bismarck Reps and Senators faced off Tuesday evening at the BPS Athletic Complex.

The Reps were looking for their sixth straight win, but they were trailing 13-9 in the fifth following a John Sammons RBI base hit.

In the bottom of the frame, the Reps got a run back courtesy of a Mason Trahan sacrifice fly. That effort made it 13-10 with the Senators still in the lead, but the Reps used a late rally to take the first game by a final score of 14-13.

The second game featured a 1-1 tie in the sixth inning, but the Reps, much like game one, rallied offensively. The Reps put together an eight-run sixth inning to win 9-1 and complete a sweep of the Senators.
