The Berthold Police department is making it their mission to make sure every child gets a present this Christmas.
For the past few weeks they have been collecting toys, clothes and money donations to be able to hand out to those in need.
Their 2nd annual toy drive will take place Thursday, December 20th at Berthold City Hall.
Any family in Ward County who needs clothes, food and help with a special Christmas gift is invited to stop by.
Anyone wanting to donate still can until the day of.
“We’re still taking donations money, toys and clothes and Thursday we’re opening the doors at three o’clock for families in the Ward County area to come up here and obtain some needed clothing, needed food for their family, and also they get a special toy,” said police chief Al Schmidt
The toy drive goes from 3p.m. to 6p.m.
