Beulah Police Officer charged with Sexual Assault

A Beulah Police officer has been charged with sexual assault.
In court documents, BCI investigators accuse Dustin Pekas of touching a minor female over the age of 15 inappropriately.
Pekas admitted to investigators he touched the girl on more than 5 occasions earlier this month.
Police Chief Frank Senn says Pekas was arrested on Wednesday and immediately fired.
Pekas had been with the department for 5 years.
B-C-I is helping in the investigation.
Pekas is out on 1-thousand dollars cash bond.
His next court date has not been set.
Sexual assault is a Class C felony with a maximum sentence of 5 years in jail.
