PETA is trying to encourage students to talk to their parents about going vegan.

In Dickinson, PETA has placed three billboards that show a chicken’s face next to the words,”I’m ME, Not MEAT. Kids: Ask your parents about going vegan.”

All three billboards are located on West Villard between Second Ave and Seventh Ave.

They are also near Roosevelt Elementary School.

The organizations also said they are targeting kids, because they have a “natural empathy toward animals”.

PETA said the billboards will be in place for one month.
