The city of Bismarck wants to raise an interesting topic next week.
The city attorney wants to ask Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem about inconsistent laws concerning C-B-D oil.
They say different cities in the state are interpreting the law differently and they want to know whether or not CBD taken from industrial hemp plants legally grown in North Dakota under the 2014 Farm Bill can be used legally in the state.
KX News has been reporting on C-B-D oil for more than a year, as the city has battled the controversial oil.
So far, three businesses in Bismarck selling C-B-D oil were forced to take their merchandise off the shelves following law enforcement intervention.
The city commission meeting is this coming Tuesday, August 28th at 5:15 pm
