Bismarck Fire Department responds to trailer fire

The Bismarck Fire Department responded to a report of a trailer fire around 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8th. 

When they arrived, they saw a single wide trailer house with smoke showing. 

The fire crew took on the smoke with a hoseline and entered the trailer home to look for any people inside and to locate the source of the smoke. 

The initial search of the home showed that no one was inside. Crews found heavy smoke and fire spread within the main living area of the trailer. They extinguished the fire and ventilated the building. 

The fire originated in the front living area of the trailer house and there was fire and heat damage to the front portion of the trailer and smoke damage throughout. 

Six fire trucks and 17 firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Bismarck Police Department and Metro Area Ambulance also responded. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
