A 15-year-old Bismarck girl was hit by a car Monday at 3:15 p.m. as she was attempting to cross Century Avenue at Gateway Avenue.
She was struck by the front driver side of the car as it was traveling eastbound on Century Avenue. After being hit, the pedestrian landed on the hood of the car, then in the middle of Gateway Avenue.
She was transported to the hospital shortly after and was treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the teen is a 39-year-old Minot woman. She had a 4-year-old passenger in the vehicle at the time. The woman was cited for driving without liability insurance.
