Starting 6:00 a.m. on Monday, August 7th, the west, outside lane of 7th Street between Thayer and Broadway Avenue will be closed to traffic.
The lane reduction is in place to allow Midcontinent to splice cables. The restriction will be in place through mid-afternoon Monday, August 7th.
Also Monday, Washington Street will be reduced to one lane for southbound traffic on Front Avenue.
This is due to a water main valve repair. The lane restriction will be in place through the end of the week.
The city warns that congestion can be expected during peak traffic hours. They encourage drives to seek alternate routes.
