WDAY: FARGO – The Minnesota Department of Revenue announced Tuesday, July 18 that Jacob LeRoy Warren was recently charged with six tax-related felonies by the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office.

The complaint states that Warren failed to file income tax returns or pay income tax between 2011 and 2013 while residing in St. Paul. Warren operated the businesses Worldlynk, Inc., Innovation Lynk LLC and Badabing, Inc. in that time period.

Through an investigation of Warren’s bank records and interviews with his business employees, department investigators allege that Warren had taxable income and knew of his obligation to file and pay income taxes, but failed to do so.

The complaint also states that Warren owes more than $61,800 in taxes, penalties and interest.

Each tax-related felony charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both. Defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
