Bismarck man revived after 6 doses of Narcan

A Bismarck man was transported to a local emergency room after Bismarck Police and Metro Ambulance administered six doses of Narcan.

At 1:48 a.m., Bismarck Police responded to the 1100 block of Summit Blvd. for a medical assist involving a 22-year-old male not breathing. Upon arrival, police found the man unresponsive and laying on his back inside an apartment. A witness on the scene stated he used heroin earlier that night.

Metro Ambulance arrived on scene, and six doses of Narcan were administered. They used two nasal doses and four intravenously. The man regained consciousness after being unresponsive for eight minutes. He was taken to a local emergency room for further evaluation and treatment.
