Bismarck-Mandan PGA Junior League scramble recap

The Bismarck-Mandan PGA Junior League held a four-team scramble Tuesday at Mandan Municipal Golf Course.

On the ninth hole, nine-year-old Sienna Mracheck of the Golf Etc. Bismarck Divot Fixers set up from a few feet away and knocked the putt in to keep pace with her opponents from the Bismarck Flames.

Over on the fourth hole, 13-year-old Lucas Boustead of the Fixers hit an approach shot that landed in the middle of the green. The shot set up an uphill put for him, but Boustead missed by mere inches. He would, however, tap in to take the hole for his team.

The Divot Fixers went on to defeat the Flames 7.5-4.5. In the other team battle, the Hawktree Hawks beat the Hawktree Masters by a score of 7-5.

Below are the current standings of the Bismarck-Mandan PGA Junior League:

1. Golf Etc. Bismarck Divot Fixers

2. Hawktree Hawks

3. Hawktree Masters

4. Golf Etc. Bismarck Flames
