Bismarck PD and SWAT to hold training exercise

The Bismarck Police Department is warning the public about a training exercise they’re doing this week.
Wednesday September 13 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, BPD and West Dakota SWAT will be training on the 300 Block of West Burleigh Ace.
People will see and hear them conducting the simulated law enforcement activies.
Here’s what they want you to be aware of.
 
·         Officers in possession of firearms
·         Police vehicles, armored vehicles, etc.
·         Officers engaging with scenario role players
·         Officer discharging simulated firearms or other devices that emit a loud audible noise consistent with the sound of gunshots or fireworks.
 
If you live in the immediate area you will be notified by officers prior to the Wednesday exercise.
