Bismarck Woman Shot Wednesday Morning


A 36-year-old Bismarck woman is in critical condition after being shot shortly after midnight Wednesday morning. 

According to police the woman was dropped off at a local hospital by three people who immediately drove off. 

The woman was unconscious when she was dropped off. 

Witnesses were able to get a license plate number. 

The investigation led police to believe the incident took place on the 600 block of North 10th Street in an apartment building. 

A 24-year-old man was arrested for tampering with evidence and ingestion of meth an marijuana and is now in custody.

Police were not specific about his connection with the incident. 

So far no one has been arrested for the shooting. 

Police would not release where the woman was wounded or with what kind of gun.
