A school superintendent is being placed on paid administrative leave after being charged with drug crimes.
David Mahon leads Bowman County Schools.
He’s charged with two felony counts of endangering a child as well as drug and paraphernalia possession.
Court documents say Mahon had marijuana, a marijuana plant and smoking devices in his house when police executed a search warrant on March 15th.
Mahon has not been arrested.
The school board says it’s will seek counsel on the matter as the case moves forward.
