A man riding a bicycle is dead after being hit by a car in Bismarck.
At around 2:00 p.m. today Bismarck police responded to a call on the 3400 block of Nebraska Drive.
Upon arrival, officers located a 76-year-old Bismarck man, unconscious who had been riding his bike on the sidewalk.
A vehicle driven by a 17-year-old female left the roadway and struck the bicyclist.
The male was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced dead from his injuries.
The Bismarck Police Department’s Traffic Section is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and is requesting that the public use alternate routes around the 3400 block of Nebraska Dr.
